PNTLS SKATEPARK
In the Summer of 2023, I was invited to join an ambitious project: building a skatepark in our hometown of Dubna.
We poured concrete, meticulously leveled it, and worked tirelessly day and night.
Why do it in the first place? I could be making espresso martinis for Moscow’s upper class, but I wanted to do it, to build and weave something into Dubna’s urban fabric.
Contributing to the creation of a public space where people can gather, have fun, and pursue their passions and hobbies was incredibly rewarding. It's a project born out of love for our town and a desire to give back to the community that has given us so much.

During the active construction of the skatepark, we thought to maximize the space and to emphasize the plurality of it by hosting events. One such event was a DJ set by Russian Famous Nobody, yes, that’s his DJ name. We hope that our small hometown can show the world how these countercultures, born from the arts & public spaces, can bring together people from all walks of life, creating unity and friendship.
